LONDON MARCH 2012

Last March Carlos and me had decided to visit London, it would be my first time there, so I was really impatient to be in front of The Big Ben, it was my dream.

After booking the accommodation and the flight tickets, we were ready to visit this fascinating city.

First day was so busy, we took train, underground, plane, bus and underground, all kinds of public transport to get London city. We bought some sandwiches to lunch, and the oyster card to travel around the city by underground. After all, we were in front of Charlotte Guest house, we have an excellent opinion about our accommodation there, and the breakfast was so delicious, I highly recommend you.

I won’t forget the sensation of being next to Big Ben, this was my first seeing of London centre. Every day we got up early in the morning, we had to visit many places, Buckingham palace, drinking a hot coffee while it was raining, we waited the Change of guard, walking around Hyde park, St James park, Green park. The fantastic and funny visit to the beautiful London Bridge and the enormous Tower of London. Our amazing visit to the different districts, Camden town, Soho, Knightbridge (harrods), Portobello (Notting bookshop)(we had lunch in a Spanish restaurant) Covent garden. Or cultural visits to the Westminster abbey, the British museum and the National gallery(Sunflowers), And so many places.

The weather was pretty changing, cold, rainy, sunny, but we could enjoy 5 days in London, we spoke English when we could.

To end our travel, we slept at the airport (like so many people), oh it was horrible and funny, but it was the cheapest option, because our plane took off at 6.30 am.
